Friday finds…Bahama Style!

Y’all!! For this round of Friday Finds, I found NOTHING! Nothing except sun and relaxation in the Bahamas. And this week I found a to-do list a mile long that I’m still trying to catch up on!

I went on vacation for a week and it was much needed and much enjoyed. I came back this week and had true intentions of blogging and getting caught up on here. You know, all home decor like like I usually am? Here it is, Friday…and I’ve got nothing! I’ve been busy this week playing catch up on everything else work related and the mounds of laundry too. On top of that, today is my sons 11th Birthday and my Birthday is Monday. We are officially in party and crazy mode here!

Since I’ve been out of pocket, I haven’t done much online shopping lately to be able to share some great finds with y’all. (And yes, I had true shopping withdrawls 🙂 )So, instead I’ll share a few pics from our trip. We went to the Bahamas with my family, my parents, and my sister and her family. It is beautiful there and our 3rd time renting the same house in Nassau. We love it and the water is like no other!

So, here you have it, this weeks round of Friday Bahama Finds. I basically found peace, relaxation, family time, sunshine, cocktails and mounds of memories!

And here is what it looked like when I worked while there…it was tough, but somebody had to read that book to learn more about Chip and Jo Jo! 🙂

I promise I will be back in my home décor game next week. I’ve been working with some fun clients helping them decorate their homes, and I can’t wait to share some with you! I’ll also actually FIND something to share for next weeks Friday Finds. Unless, of course I decide to escape back to the Bahamas and then I will just only share pictures from Paradise 🙂

I will say this, you know that feeling you get after you’ve been away from your home for an extended time? I hope you know the one I’m talking about. I love that feeling. Traveling TO your destination is exciting and amazing. Traveling home, well…it STINKS! By the time you have come to grips with the fact that your vacation is over you are literally just so ready to be home.

After we landed back in Nashville, we had about a 45 minute ride to our house. I literally wanted to cry. Maybe, I did?! I can’t remember . I just know I was SO ready and just wanted to be home. I kept thinking about getting the kids in bed and curling up on my comfy couch and catching up on some shows. Then, I would think about my bed and how I was going to sleep so good in that bad boy. I LOVE my home and although the Bahamas was amazing, Home is home. And home is where we belong.

Walking in the door after being away for a week was a great feeling. One I never want to take for granted. And I totally curled up on my couch, got my TV fix, and slept like a rock that night!

Happy Weekend Y’all!

Until next time…

~Stacey
