Christmas Photo Shoot with Old Time Pottery- a behind the scenes look!

It was looking a lot like Christmas around here last week when Old Time Pottery showed up, and I loved every minute!

The Christmas photo shoot with Old time Pottery was such a cool experience and I’m going to show you the behind the scenes today! Christmas photo shoot with Old Time Pottery- behind the scenes!

I have shopped at Old Time Pottery for years and have always loved the store. It’s about 45 minutes from where I live, so when I get the opportunity to go it is like a real treat and I usually fill up my whole buggy! haha! Their stuff is always so cute and ALWAYS affordable!

So, when they reached out to me to see if they could come do a Christmas photo shoot at MY house, the answer was obviously YES! I was beyond honored and super excited about this opportunity. They are revamping their website and some of these images will be used there…so fun!

Scott and Morgan showed up around 9 AM with 2 cars filled with huge storage totes of all things Christmas! We unloaded and then talked about how the day would go, gave them a tour around so they could decide where to take their shots, etc.

We started in my kitchen by creating a beautiful Christmas table setting! I loved seeing all of their fancy equipment and lighting. Christmas photo shoot with Old Time Pottery- behind the scenes!

The fun thing about this was that they 100% wanted my help and input in the styling of the items! I was in my element playing with décor all day!  Christmas photo shoot with Old Time Pottery- behind the scenes!

They wanted some shots by my entry bench, and asked if Bailey could be in a couple of them too! Of course, I said YES! Our little model pup did so good sitting there for the camera. I can’t WAIT to see the professional pics they got of this space!  Christmas photo shoot with Old Time Pottery- behind the scenes!

Next up in the Christmas photo shoot was the living room. We worked on a floral feature first to display a lot of their different Christmas florals and how they could be styled. This was a fun one for me too! They also of course did the mantle…it was beginning to look a lot like Christmas for sure!  Christmas photo shoot with Old Time Pottery- behind the scenes!

We did some outside photos also, but I’m going to leave a few of these spaces as surprises for when their new website comes out!

I will tell you this, Old Time Pottery is a great company and have been awesome to work with! I think what I love about the store the most is that you can get items that are on trend (aka give me all the buffalo check), but you don’t feel like you are breaking the bank. I’m all about that!

This Christmas photo shoot was a ton of fun and something I never dreamed I would be a part of, but am SO glad that I was! Thank you Old Time Pottery for seeing something in me and my home that made you notice me and reach out. I’m truly honored!

Here was part of the aftermath at the end of the day! Oh- and you can see my whole Christmas tree here if you haven’t already!  Christmas photo shoot with Old Time Pottery- behind the scenes!

Did you enjoy the behind the scenes of the Christmas photo shoot?! Stay tuned for the professional pics soon! (all of these were snapped with my iPhone)

Until next time…
