Easy DIY picture frame using Walmart supplies!

Anyone else obsessed with all things pictures and picture frames?! Every store I go to I’m tempted to buy one!

I love having cute ways to display pictures of my family throughout my home. I wanted to add a little something to my office, but decided I was going to go the DIY picture frame route this time around!

See how I made this easy DIY picture frame using Walmart supplies! The entire thing was super inexpensive, yet turned out super cute!

Have you ever seen these cute little boards at Walmart? You can find them over in the craft and unfished wood section. I love the ones that look like they are whitewashed for that farmhouse feel!

Check out the different mix your media boards here! SO many possibilities for these!

I grabbed this 10×10 one for this project, and since it was square I wanted to layer it with another square.

I got this little unfished wood frame for 97 cents and knew it would be perfect! Easy DIY picture frame using walmart suppliesEasy DIY picture frame using walmart supplies and waverly chalk paint

The rest was EASY! I painted it with Waverly Chalk paint (I used the color pool). This is my go to paint for little craft projects, check out ALLLL the colors they have online here! It’s inexpensive and works great for projects!

I put my picture in and hot glued it to the Walmart board, then I decided to take it up one more notch and put some white polka dots on the blue with a little round sponge craft brush!

You can see the whole thing on my FB Live here!

I’m so happy with how this DIY picture frame turned out and think this would make a great little gift idea too!

Yup. I’ll be giving it a go!! Other than the chalk paint in pool (I have many Waverley chalk paint colors to choose from. It’s my only use chalk paint), I have everything needed to try.
    Thanks for the awesome idea!!
