Y’all know that the hearth room of our home is my FAVORITE to decorate for all the seasons and reasons! In the south, this is a sitting area off of your kitchen that also has our eat in kitchen area.

It’s also the place where I get to decorate a mantel…which I love, so let’s start there!

The two flocked trees on either side of the fireplace just set the tone of the room, and while last year I decided to leave them totally bare…this year I added red berries for a fun pop and I just LOVE it!

It’s going to be a BERRY Merry Christmas here! (HAD. TO!!)

It can’t be a Wilshire Christmas room without cute pillows (and a basket of course). I’m ROCKING the November Wilshire branded plaid pillow covers from the pillow cover club in my chairs (and on my couch)!

I of course had to style up this cute basket with the Wilshire tree shaped pillow, Wilshire throw, Simple swap frame and printable and a red pillow from Marshall’s. OBSESSED!

For my garland, I used a strand from Hobby Lobby and added some red picks and stems to it, and of course my Gold Amazon bells to the end!

Up top, I used my trees from last year plus some wood ones from Hobby Lobby. The arch I’ve had forever, with a red berry wreath from Target!

We can’t forget the kitchen table. PLEASE NOTE: I DO NOT KEEP THIS TABLE SET LIKE THIS BECAUSE THAT IS UNREALISTIC. haha! However…

I set it just for you so that you could get ideas and inspo! I’ll set it like this when we host anything this holiday season!

I can’t tell you what a retreat this room is for me. It’s where I drink my coffee, have conversations with family and friends, have work meetings, read books, scroll my phone (lol) and so much more!

And at Christmas…it just makes me even happier! It’s a true cozy retreat from the stress and chaos that is life and I’m so thankful for it!

Let me know your favorite part of these traditional Christmas decorating ideas! For me…well, it’s the whole thing! But I think it’s those berry trees with the pillows in the chair and the basket that really sends me over the edge!

Until next time,

Stacey

Love it❤️ I have very similar layout but always just do one tree in this space. May try two. Is the black & white below the original decor used ? I need the crème with black rug!

I love the whole room, but the addition of the berries in the two flocked trees just adds so much to the overall look. Stacey so far this is my favorite Christmas decor of your hearth room …. festive, lovely and cozy. I’m sure next year will be even better if that’s even possible. You hit it out of the park ….. ♥️♥️

I love the 2 tall lighted trees on your mantle. I have a new puppy and won’t put a tree in my den this year. They would give me lighted trees in the room. Where did you get them?

Hello Stacey, of course everything is beautiful & I love it all. However, the trees with berries flanking either side of the gorgeous mantle is my favorite, I think…. because you have inspired me to paint my over 100 year old mantle from dark brown to white & it so happens that I have just enough room to put double trees beside it! Never thought of doing that before!! 😉 Thank you for your kind heart & inspiring us to change decor & how easy it is to do on a friendly budget. This Crafty Mimi is learning from you young gals. Thanks again & take care
    Susan ♥️🙏
