To be totally honest, this probably took me the longest to decorate out of anything in my home this year. These shelves are BIG and it took a lot of playing, moving and a little shopping to get them how I wanted.

We have to acknowledge the beautiful FAMILY Christmas tree! This one is full of all of our sentimental ornaments. Things the kids have made, ones from our travels, our childhoods, etc. SO SUPER SPECIAL!
You can see how I added ribbon and my topper to this tree here. I just love it all…even that tiny little silver star at the top that my boys insist on putting up there haha!
We can’t forget cute PILLOWS! And I’ve got plenty of those in this space too!
One thing I always strive for with decorating is to create cozy and comfortable spaces, and this living room does just that! It was so fun to put my touches on it for Christmas to make it even more cozy!
The view from the living room into the kitchen, eat in area and hearth room is one of my favorites! Those wood beams are just everything to me!

My husband built a large bookshelf (above a built-in, 12 drawer, dresser) in the master bedroom and I’m having a hard time decorating it for Christmas! Mine has four shelves, and is about 8 feet long! You have inspired me with the way that you decorated your shelves!!!
