Patriotic Red Truck DIY

Do you love a little red truck as much as I do?! I’m pretty much obsessed with them, especially right now when I’m loving the red, white and blue patriotic décor!

This patriotic red truck DIY is seriously too cute for words and is something anyone can do in a few simple steps! Come take a look!

I just launched a brand new line of printables…you can see them all RIGHT HERE! So, I was really excited to get to crafting with one of them. These are great to be used to be put in frames OR for crafting. The possibilities are endless!

For this project, I used the Patriotic crafters bundle found here so that I could use the truck. These are the perfect size for smaller crafts. So cute, right?!

You’ll need one of these cute pieces of wood from Walmart (or you can use ay type of .scrap wood you have on hand). Mine came whitewashed just like this, which was perfect.

These stars are also from Walmart and I used Hobby Lobby scrapbook paper to mod podge over them!

Next, I grabbed a few of my favorite patriotic ribbons (from Walmart also)! I cut 3 strips of each one about 12″ long each. I had some pom pom ribbon and cut 2 strips of it at 12″ each also.

Then I simply cut out my little red truck and mod podged it on the wood. Then, I hot glued the stars to the top of the wood! It was looking so cute already, but I wasn’t done!

Last but not least, I turned it over and hot glued my strips of ribbon side by side hanging down from the wood. This didn’t take long at all!

I love the crafts that you do, but I don’t have a printer, so I won’t be able to use them. Very disappointing.

You sure can still use them! You can save them and send them to a place like office depot, staples, ups store, etc and have them print them for you! There are options. Thanks.
