Flower pot DIY using two plastic Dollar Tree pots!

There are so many things at the Dollar Tree that can be taken from drab to fab, you just have to think outside the box sometimes on how you can do that!

In this flower pot DIY I use 2 plastic Dollar Tree pots, some paint and some flowers to make the cutest stacked pot!

Want to know how to make this cutie? Let’s get into it!

Grab 2 of these from the Dollar Tree! If you can’t find those, ANY plastic flower pots will work. I would just pick one that has some grooves and/or texture to it like this.

Next, I simply took some Waverly white chalk paint from Walmart and gave them a couple of good coats of paint. After that it was time to distress them with some sandpaper. This really brought out the details of them!

After that I turned one of them upside down and simply hot glued them together. I added a little piece of black and white ribbon across the center for fun!

Of course, it was then time to add flowers! I chose fake greenery for inside my house. If you wanted to use it outside, you would need to seal the pot and be sure you drilled holes for drainage. I used a combo of greenery, sunflowers and daisies all from Hobby Lobby!

And I knew as soon as I did this that it would look SO cute with my Sunflower and Daisy Home sweet home printable sign! Was I right or what?! LOVE!
