Lemons and buffalo check!? Yes, please! So many people have asked me about continuing to use buffalo check in the Spring and my answer has been OF COURSE YOU CAN!

You can see where I used it in my little entry way bench here for Spring too! I decided I wanted to carry the theme on down the hall with the buffalo check, but I also wanted to use some of my yellow florals and lemon decor!

I LOVE the way the black, white and yellow look together for Spring. My answer continues to be YES to using buffalo check any time of the year! And DOUBLE YES if you mix in some lemon decor!

See how I used my lemon decor in my Spring entry way and mixed it with touches of buffalo check for the perfect pop that screams Spring!

I found this little buffalo check and lemon piece from Walmart (that is hanging on the shiplap frame) and knew I had to have it! It wasn’t quite big enough to use in the center, so I took a piece of scrap wood we had in the garage and painted it black. I love how it built this piece up and made it the perfect size!

My buffalo check vase came from Kirkland’s last year and I put my favorite Spring forsythia florals in it. I created a little vignette with my lemon sign from Anchored Soul Designs and I filled my other piece that I got at a local store (Nest Décor) with some lemons from  Target Dollar Spot.

On the other side, I have my lamp, some old books with a little sign from Walmart and some little rain boots that I got at Marshall’s last year! 

It’s simple, but the lemon decor with the buffalo check makes a pretty great statement if you ask me! What do you think? Do you like this combo for Spring? You could EASILY carry this on into Summer too!
